My name is Lu Liu. I worked as a post-doctoral research associate in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Rice University. My research interests and experience lie in the area of the modeling of water-energy-climate systems interactions and adaptations to environmental and socioeconomic stressors. I am now a Research Associate at Houston Advanced Research Center.

Overarching research goals

– Advance our understanding of integrated Water, Energy, and Food systems with a holistic systems approach, and

– Enhance decision making for sustainable resource planning via physical-socioeconomic modeling and science-policy integration.
